Secured grants to assist rural firefighters with the cost of fuel mitigation, and protected them from legislation that would have resulted in excessive financial burdens.
Voted to increase the franchise tax exemption, assisting small and family owned businesses.
Successfully acquired grants for local job creation and infrastructure improvements.
Established history of working closely with local elected officials, community leaders and constituents to quickly and efficiently address community issues and needs.
